SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST & CLINIC DIRECTOR

I’m extremely passionate about Veteran’s health and love working with musculoskeletal injuries. I’m also a strong believer in the benefits of being physically active for our mental health. I love seeing our programs continue to evolve and our team continue to be able to help more people in our communities.

My hobbies include spending time with my son, strength training as a daily ritual, reading and anything basketball related.

SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Kelsey completed her Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology with Honours in 2021. She has a particular interest in Veteran health, mental health and musculoskeletal conditions, and enjoys helping people use exercise to improve both their physical health and overall wellbeing.

Kelsey focuses on creating practical and personalised exercise programs that help people build strength, confidence and capacity to keep doing the things that are important to them.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys reading a good book, going for walks and travelling the world.

SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Carla has a strong interest in running, sporting injuries and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She enjoys helping people with back, shoulder, knee and ankle conditions, as well as developing running programs and supporting people through a safe return to running.

Carla is a certified running coach and has completed additional training in complex shoulder conditions, running and lower limb injuries. She also has an interest in osteoporosis and supporting adolescents and adults with Autism and ADHD, particularly those aged 13 years and above.

Outside of work, Carla enjoys cycling, running and swimming, as well as making the most of the Barossa food and wine.

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Chloe is passionate about helping people build strength, confidence and improve their overall health through exercise. She has a particular interest in women’s health, including supporting women during pregnancy and through their return to exercise after having a baby.

Chloe enjoys creating individualised exercise programs that are realistic, supportive and focused on helping people safely continue doing the activities they enjoy.

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Miranda has a strong interest in supporting older adults and people living with cancer, with particular interests in aged care, oncology and falls prevention. She enjoys using exercise to help people maintain their independence, strength, confidence and quality of life.

Miranda is naturally social and places a strong emphasis on building genuine relationships with her clients and making exercise an enjoyable part of their week. She particularly enjoys seeing people recognise their own progress and realise they are capable of more than they initially thought.

A good sense of humour and some friendly banter are also never far away during Miranda’s sessions.

CARE COORDINATOR & SOCIAL WORKER

Pashmeena is passionate about supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing, particularly when they are navigating complex life circumstances. Her approach is trauma informed and focused on creating a safe and respectful environment where people feel heard and supported.

She has experience with social advocacy, care coordination, safety planning and risk assessment, as well as helping people connect with housing, community services and other supports. Pashmeena enjoys helping clients navigate services and work towards meaningful changes in their lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find Pashmeena experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or exploring local cafés and hidden gems.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Aavi completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia after completing a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences Advanced, majoring in neuroscience at the University of Adelaide.

She has a particular interest in musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy. Aavi enjoys combining exercise, movement and hands-on physiotherapy to help people improve their function, manage pain and build confidence in what their body can do.

Her background in neuroscience has also driven a strong interest in how the brain, nervous system and movement interact.

Outside of work, Aavi enjoys morning walks, reading, drawing and catching up with friends and family over coffee.

LEAD ADMINISTRATOR

My name is Tori and I'm the Lead Administrator at Proactive Health.

I bring over 10 years of experience in customer service, along with a background studying in Animal Science. I’m passionate about helping others and enjoy the dynamic nature of juggling work and family life.

Outside of the office, I love spending quality time with my young family, getting out on the water kayaking, playing hockey, gardening, challenging myself with puzzles and playing board games.
